Step ONE
Follow Jesus
Jesus invites us to accept His free gift of salvation and follow Him. We cannot earn salvation; we freely receive it by trusting Jesus and inviting Him into our lives as Lord. Through Jesus, we are changed, transformed, and called to follow Him.
If you confess with your mouth “Jesus Is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.Romans 10:9
3 Steps:

Share your salvation story with another believer. - Get a Bible
Start reading the Word of God and get to know Jesus. We recommend starting with the book of John. - Take the One-Year Challenge
Come to church for 52 weeks and see what God does in your life.
Step TWO
Join The Movement
Movement Course will help you become a vital part of Awakening Church by developing your gifts and growing in your faith.
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know Him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the riches of His glorious inheritance in His holy people.” Ephesians 1:17-18
Here’s what to expect:
- This course is free.
- It will take four Sundays to complete, and you can start on any Sunday.
- Each course is about 30 minutes long.
- MVMNT happens every Sunday after the 10 AM and 11:45 AM services.
- Childcare is provided.
Step THREE
Get Baptized
Water baptism is every believer’s next step. By being water baptized, you follow Jesus’ example, demonstrate your changed life, and declare your commitment to Christ. Water baptism is a public profession of your personal faith.
“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”Acts 2:38
Step FOUR
Connect To Community
Joining the community of the church provides a meaningful way to connect with fellow believers and find a sense of spiritual belonging and shared purpose. These dedicated ministries offer services, worship experiences, and growth opportunities, enabling people to deepen their faith through active involvement in the church.
“So when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.”John 21:15
Step FIVE
Serve The Lord
It is an act of worship to serve the Lord and his people
Our culture has always been one of passionate people who have committed their time, talents, and treasure to building the Body of Christ. The A-Team is a ministry where we use our gifts and serve others to make a difference. We believe God can and will use us whenever, wherever, and for whatever is necessary to advance the kingdom of God.
“This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.”John 15:8
